Summer VBS Details
Dates: Wednesday - Friday, July 17 - 19
Times: 9am - 12pm
Ages: Pre-K (current 4 - 5 yr olds) & Elementary (Completed K - 5th Grades)
Cost: $30 per kid* (includes snacks and a T-shirt)
*A discount code is available for kids of volunteers (you will receive the code when signing up to serve). And as always, we have discount codes for new-to-Park friends as well as need-based scholarships. Just let us know if you need one!

Spots are limited to start and are based on the number of leaders we have. As we recruit more leaders we will make more spots available. Please add your kid(s) to the wait list if their group is full, and as spots open up we will let you know.
Attend another Park Location? Our VBS usually reaches capacity. If you attend another Park Location besides Near North and Lincoln Park, first check with your Children's Ministry team to find out what your location is offering this summer (there is a VBS for all regions). If we have spots open closer to our dates, you're welcome to join us.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I park and where do I go each day for drop-off?
When you arrive at Near North (1001 N Crosby St.), please park in the Garage and use the elevators to go up to the 2nd Floor. On Wednesday (7/17), there will be a registration and T-shirt table set up that you will stop at first. Once you're all set, you will be sent to your kid's Home Room, which is where you'll pick them up at the end of each day. On Thursday and Friday when you arrive in the morning, just go straight to your kid's Home Room to drop them off there.
How early may I drop my kids off (and what time is pick-up again)?
You may begin dropping off your kids after 8:45am each morning. Please have them to their Home Room no later than 9:05 each morning as they will soon head to their first activity. We ask that you pick up your kids at 12pm each day. Most of our leaders have to pick up their kids as well, so we appreciate your help being on time!
Will you be serving snacks during VBS?
Yes! Each day your kids will be served a peanut-free snack during snack time each day. If your child has food allergies, please let us know so we can make a plan (or bring a peanut-free option for them).
What should my kid bring each day?
Please send the following things for your kid(s) each day:
- Bible (especially for the elementary aged kids)
- A water bottle with their name on it.
- A change of clothes (for the littles who might need it). This can be left in their Home Room if not used.
- Comfortable and secure shoes (so they can run and play without getting injured).
- Hat or sunblock for outside game time, if desired.
What will they do during VBS?
Kids will travel in smaller groups as teams and visit the following stations each day: Crafts, Games (outside if weather permits), Snack and Team Huddle, and Large Group.
